SENIOR PROGRAMS

Walking Club

IMG_7923.jpeg

Our senior program hosts a Walking Club every Tuesday at 9:30 AM, moving outdoors to local parks in May.

Walking is a fantastic low-impact exercise that supports heart health, strengthens muscles, and improves flexibility and balance. It also helps reduce the risk of chronic conditions like diabetes, arthritis, and high blood pressure

Weekly Outings

These outings offer seniors the chance to explore new places, try new activities, and connect with others in a fun and engaging way.

Social engagement plays a vital role in overall well-being, and our outings help seniors stay connected to their community while building meaningful relationships.

We believe that healthy aging goes beyond physical fitness—it’s about staying connected to the world, embracing new experiences, and enjoying life to the fullest.

Fitness & Wellness

At Hanna, we understand the importance of fitness for seniors, which is why we offer a variety of fun and engaging fitness opportunities to help our members stay active and healthy with our own wellness center & community wellness partners.

One of our valued partners is BoxFit, a local fitness organization that specializes in creating senior-friendly workout programs. BoxFit regularly visits our center to lead fitness classes that are tailored to the unique needs and abilities of seniors.

Financial Literacy

Our senior program is proud to partner with Purdue Federal Credit Union to provide valuable financial education and support. Credit union staff regularly visit our center to assist seniors with budgeting, savings, retirement planning, and investment strategies.

These sessions offer a trusted space for seniors to ask questions, receive expert advice, and build the confidence to make informed financial decisions.
